Education Director, Jill Howell

As Education Director, Jill Gudger Howell works with high school and college administrators to implement the “Equalizer System Of Personal Safety” in their institutions. Having a background in education, she is very familiar with the needs and concerns of both students and educators. She is dedicated to making quality personal safety information available to everyone.
Biography
Jill Gudger Howell is a veteran public and private sector educator with experience as a classroom instructor, school counselor, and curriculum writer on levels ranging from junior high to four-year university levels. Mrs. Howell holds both Bachelor’s as well as Master’s degrees in English as well as Education and is certified to teach 7-12th grades as well as on the 2- and 4- year college/university levels.
In addition to completing post-Master’s work in K-12 Guidance & School Counseling, Mrs. Howell has been honored to be a two- time invited presenter to The College Board’s Southeastern Regional & National Forums, held in Atlanta and Chicago, respectively, as well as being named to The Executive Board of The Alabama School Counselor Association while being recognized as one of ASCA’s “Emerging Leaders” within the state. Mrs. Howell is also a professional member of The Southern Association for College Admission Counseling and has been asked to serve in volunteer positions by the President of the organization.
Mrs. Howell is the Founder and President of “N2College Consulting,” a company offering customized admissions and scholarship funding planning services to students/schools in Grades 8-Graduate School across the U.S. The company is pleased to have assisted their clients in surpassing the $3,500,000 scholarship mark with the Sr. Class of 2006.
Most recently, Mrs. Howell was honored to be named as an Alumni Advocate Leader Member to The Higher Education Partnership for the state of Alabama, an organization that represents all thirteen public universities within the state. In her free time, Mrs. Howell enjoys volunteering through service to The Miss Alabama Scholarship Organization as well as doing free-lance work/co-hosting on the local nationally award-winning television station in her hometown.
